The pan flute is an instrument consisting of ten or more stacks, which differ in length, which are closed tube. The tubes are placed in a row, the longest tube to the shortest. Each length will then produce a different note, depending on its length. It is most often seen as a old traditional instrument and it is what preceded the harmonica and the pipe organ. It is believed that the different lengths of tubing into the flute Pan was the inspiration of the pipe organ. Although the original pan flutes were usually made of reed or bamboo, Most of pan flutes today are made of metal, plastic and wood.
As the ends of the pan flute are stopped, the flute is not played by the musician blowing air directly into the tubes. It might not be the first instrument that many will choose immediately when deciding on an instrument to play, although many who have heard the pan flute, and enjoy the genre it is generally assumed, will choose the instrument. It can be a rewarding instrument to play and who does not make much noise while trying to practice at home. It is a more silent, even though the sound may attract attention because of its clear and soothing voice. It's a nice instrument to play, even if not for a career in music. There are many people who have chosen to learn the pan flute as a hobby because they enjoy the noise and they like play in their spare time for fun.
